Iris Chang Memorial Fund
             Fundraising Objectives and Sponsorship
  1. Objectives:

    1. Endowment – The fund is set out to establish a $250,000 endowment over the next three years in order to support the programs outlined in the attached data sheet.

      2.
    2. First Year Fundraising Goal – The fund intends to raise at least $100,000 in 2006 to ascertain the sustainability of two of the proposed programs for a period of three to five years.

    3. Annual Fundraising – The fund will conduct annual fundraising drives through events, special sponsorship programs, grant applications, and mail campaigns to sustain and expand proposed educational programs as well as to take on new initiatives whenever appropriate and financially feasible.

  2. Sponsorship --  The program sponsorship will consist of the following four levels of special contributions in addition to all other regular donations:

    1. Diamond Level Sponsors – Donors of an aggregate sum of $10,000 or more.

        2.
    2. Platinum Level Sponsors – Donors of an aggregate sum of $5,000 or more.

        3.
    3. Gold Level Sponsors – Donors of an aggregate sum of $2,500 or more.

        4.
    4. Silver Level Sponsors – Donors of an aggregate sum of $1,000 or more.
Note that the names of the donors of all four levels will be published in the program brochures of Global Alliance conferences, biennial membership meetings, and all fundraising literatures distributed by the “Iris Chang Memorial Fund.”
